Memorial Guarantee

Our granite and marble memorials, including monuments, markers and benches are made from the finest materials available. Our stone is select quality stock and comes from all parts of the country and from foreign countries. Our manufacturer uses state of the art equipment in creating new memorials and duplicating existing memorials on family lots. Our memorials are guaranteed to be free of defects, not to crack, crumble or disintegrate. Also, no coloring matter or oils are used in the memorial finishing process. Cave Hill Cemetery Co. will replace any memorial that is not in conformance with our quality control standards.

Cave Hill Cemetery Co. cannot be responsible for deterioration or damage of any nature to any gravestones, monumental structures, benches or memorials whether caused by the elements, acts of God, common enemies, thieves, vandals, malicious mishief makers, explosions or unavoidable accidents.

If a memorial is damaged by an unavoidable accident or vandalism Cave Hill Cemetery Co. will make every effort possible to repair that damage as a service to our lot holders.

Cave Hill Cemetery Co. does not recommend using sawed or smooth finished sides on marble headstones due to the brittle nature of marble. It is highly recommended that these headstones have rough or rock-pitched finishes. Smooth finished headstones are very susceptible to mechanical damage from turf maintenance operations and normal wear, erosion and chipping caused by the elements and extreme weather conditions that affect all outdoor art.

Cave Hill Cemetery Co. does offer a memorial cleaning service. If your memorial becomes stained by birds, animals, insects, shady conditions, moss, lichens or any other natural or unnatural element it can easily be cleaned by our simple cleaning process. Our Administration office would be glad to give you an estimate for cleaning.
