Judge George B. Eastin (1843-1896) went to
Italy visiting points of interest
and hoping the climate would provide
some relief to him. He died in Rome. He
was a popular lawyer who had an
appointed stint on the Kentucky
Court of Appeals in 1895. His
wife, Fannie Castleman Eastin, sister
of General John B. Castleman, erected
the expressive monument to My
Darling Husband, in Section
A, lot 360. |
